There is another service I had come across in the past called Outbrain that offers something similar. I think the bad thing about these services are that they can potentially be viewed by Google as elaborate link schemes and cause the sites in the network to become penalized for a variety of reasons - they are artificially all providing a lot of link juice to Zemanta itself, and the content isn't really curated in such a way to provide real value to the consumer.
