Your Inspiration

What inspired you to be a website owner? What is your drive to maintain it? Do you see yourself doing this for a living for a long time or is it just something on the side to earn extra money?
 
I've always wanted to be a business owner, and since it is a lot more work in the form of legalities and other physical hindrances and obstacles to put up a physical store or place, then an online presence is the next best thing. I particularly want to get into forum building so I could give like-minded people a place to hangout. I also like that online sites give us the opportunity to talk to one another even being from different countries, a feature that otherwise would not have been possible without the internet. So to answer your question, I don't think I got inspired by any one thing specifically, just the overall benefits of being online was reason enough for me to get into site building and learning about it.
 
I currently don't have any website of mine that brings in profit but I am looking forward of creating a big project which will be a full time income bringer.
 
At the moment, I maintain a website for myself in order to "educate" myself as well as a way to pass my time. I have also been maintaining the website of our family business so that has been most helpful. My participation in this blog has helped me even further to improve the features on both websites. So, I have been inspired both by need and entertainment.
 
i don't have the exact reason for why am interested in getting a website but my needs made me to own one
 
I became disabled not too long ago. I decided that I should try and earn a living from home instead of relying on Social Security. I do see myself going to have a site in the near future. I am here to learn about owning and maintaining a website. I am here to get ideas about traffic. I will be doing it for a long time.
 
My main blog is a big source of leads for my local business.

I also have other websites set up with the goal of creating a certain amount of passive income. That's income is going to fund my new condo and semi-retirement.
 
I am inspire from my father because he is very good business man and i also want to that position in market that's why i have choosen this way to get sucess. I want to become a good business man in this world.
 
Obviously business, and money reasons. I also like writing, so I aim to improve everyday, which is why I'm putting out an article a day on my website. It's consistent and stable at the moment, but I may just stop for a week, and just focus on driving traffic to my website.
 
I do not own any website. I am working only on clients sites and promote them & get traffic on them.
But now i am planning for a niche site but not decided yet.
