The first thing to do is create a sitemap of your website and submit it in your Google webmaster account. This will help search engine spiders find your website and will help to index your webpages in search engines. Apart from this you can do link building for your newly built website to bring traffic to your website.

If I have a new website than first I add that site in GWT and GA. Than after work SEO on that that site. Set up proper on page SEO so that spider clearly know what site is going to represent. After completion of on-page start normal routine off page activity as well as fetch all the URL in GWT.

4. URL Structure
5. Body Tags (H1, H2, H3, H4, etc.)
