There are more than ten popular WordPress plugins in the market. Upon further investigation, we found out almost all backup plugins are lack of restore feature in their free version except for Updraftplus. It means that if you want to restore backups with these plugins, you have to upgrade to their premium version. In my opinion, the free versions of these plugins like semi-finished products.
After team discussion, we decided to create a WordPress backup plugin whose free version covers one-click backup and restore features. After coding a few months, WPvivid Backup/Restore (from WordPress directory) is available to use now.
Apart from one-click backup and restore, it supports for manual and scheduled backups, uploading to cloud storage (more storage options are coming soon), the backup items customizable, excluding large files from backups and more.
We would love to hear your feedback. It can help us keep refining the plugin and contributing to WordPress community.
