Wordpress or Joomla?

Maybe you could try Concrete5? It's really simple, if you get into this cms for a while, you will realize that it's much simplet with the same capabilities as wordpress or joomla.
 
I am a novice, and can easily handle post or edit articles on WordPress, It is really easy to use and update. I am happy with it and have no reason to switch to other CMS so far. I vote for WordPress. You may also interested in how to install WordPress, please check out this article.

I know Joomla and Wordpress. I'm more familiar with Joomla, but on my view, wordpress is very simple to use. And it has many plugins compared to joomla. So I can recommend to a newbie to use wordpress.

He explains that some of the plugins use to convert wordpress into something different might not work to future updates of the wordpress version. My suggestion is to check whether this is a possibility to whatever you wanted to do to your wordpress.
