Do proper On-Page SEO of your website first.
Like use of keywords, optimized content, submit your website to Google Webmaster tool, use of Meta tags in HTML, Alt tags for images, sitemap.xml, robots.txt. OR you can do social media marketing of your website (plugin: social sharing)

There could be several reasons why visitors are not coming to your website, if you have done your on page Seo then one reason could be due to stiff competition in the search engine market. Some keywords are notoriously difficult to rank for because of competition. Make sure your on-page SEO is perfect and continue link building till it improves.
