Why is Wordpress Good for SEO?

Because it is already SEO optimized to a great extent and lots of lots of plugins available for different SEO tasks.

WordPress is great for SEO because it offers a lot of per page customization, with and without the need for plugins. When you set up everything and are about to publisg=h the post, WordPress will help you there saying how good SEO is actually for that particular text and you'll be able to correct mistakes and make it better.

WordPress is basically a website builder that has prefixed all the advanced coding of programming a website and captured it all into a clean and well-organized user interface. Read the more information our blog second online income

I've heard that WordPress is architected in a way that makes it more SEO friendly, even in comparison to other blog platforms. Is that true? If so, what does WordPress have that others don't? Is it the canonical URL thing? Tags? Divs rather than tables?

It is not a matter of platform but the website itself. Mostly because Wordpress websites are word based, it is easier for search engines to find them, it also has some good plugins which helps a lot but if you do not set it correctly then there is no point.
