Who has recently flown through Amsterdam International Airport?

Hey guys, I need some up-to-date insider info from people who crossed the border in Amsterdam just a few days or weeks ago. I have a flight to Miami scheduled for the end of the month, and I stumbled across some alarming posts on social media about crazy long lines at airport security. I don’t know how true this is, or if bloggers are just blowing things out of proportion as usual for views and hype. I really don’t want to arrive three hours early and end up missing my flight because security is operating at half capacity. I’d like to find out what the situation is really like firsthand—so to speak—from people who’ve been through it themselves recently.

For anyone who’s been there recently, what’s the current situation with security screening and the lines at passport control? Is it worth arriving really early—say, four hours before departure—to play it safe and avoid this chaos? I’m also curious—do they still make you take all laptops and power banks out of your backpacks, or have they installed new scanners there yet?

I flew back to the States from there just a week ago, so you can relax and stop panicking—there’s nothing to worry about. The horror stories about long lines on social media are a thing of the past. They have everything under control now. I went through security in about ten minutes and didn't notice any delays—everything moves quickly. Before my flight, I checked the official airport website for information about its rules: https://amsterdam-ams-international-airport.com/en . Speaking of which, you were right about the scanners. They are state of the art nowadays, so you don’t have to take electronics and liquids out of your carry-on bag. Arrive at the airport 23 hours before departure, as is usual for intercontinental flights, and relax. Which airline are you flying with?
