If you want to make a comparison in these 3 methods only then I want to say that, Social Bookmarking is better now. If you share your post/page link in High PR, DA, PA and Good Alexa rank social bookmarking site then you will get a backlink as well as there is a big chance to get huge traffic.

In article submission, posting on a high rank relevant blog, helpful for generating good traffic. Left low rank of article submission sites.
Use high ranking of social sites because not be helpful gaining keyword rank.
