If you want slim, good looking, fast, efficient and light weight laptop then you can have a look at Vizio Laptops.
It doesn't have LAN port but you can use USB to LAN converter

I prefer Dell, HP, Apple brands with I3, I5 and I7 Processor configuration laptops. We should select robust laptops for regular use.

HP is a good brand, but their laptop usually become very hot after a while (especiallly when yours have external graphic card)
For gamer, I suggest Alienware series with many high-end options.
Macbook is another option. I don't know why people use Macbook, though :v
