What is the difference between landing page and doorway pages?

Landing page is the web page that visitors arrive at after they click the link on a search engine results page. A landing page can be the first page of a website that was advertised on the search engine results page, or from one of the natural results from the search query.
Doorway pages are specially optimized pages for one search engine and 1-3 keywords. This provide higher search engine rankings for any keyword, with any search engine.
 
Landing page is that one on which user reach after clicking a link. Doorway page is black hat seo technique using unethical tricks to get clicks and to drive traffic on website. This technique is highly banned by search engines.
 
Doorway pages are a group of low quality pages which is developed to promote a particular keyword and which have no relevant content or may have duplicate content.These low quality pages will redirect you to a different page of a website which the webmaster feel is the most important. It is a black hat seo technique.
