A landing page is basically a lone webpage that someone will see right after he or she clicks on an online advertisement link or an SEO search result. It functions as an extension of the said link by providing more thorough explanation about it. When visitors of a website click on an advertisement banner that they are interested in, a landing page will pop up in the form of a particular page of a website or a prompter. The landing page will persuade them to take a certain action, such as purchasing a product, subscribing to the newsletter, or sharing information to social media sites –any activity that will convert their visits into something beneficial for the advertisement owners. Companies pay good money to build successful landing pages that will be able to boost the popularity of their products and boost sales volume. They want high converting landing pages –the landing pages that can drive a lot of traffic to their website and convince the visitors into doing what the advertisements suggest them to do.
