I confirm! I started a new website and moved my articles from an old site to that new. It took me just a couple of days to start getting traffic from search engines. Things that would be very difficult if I did not get the juice from the old link. Matt custs also said when we shift to another location then lose 15% of ranking. basically this is permanent redirect of another location. Matt Cutts confirmed this in 2013 when he explained that a 301 loses the exact same amount of PageRank as a link from one page to another.
