What changes would you like to see on Blogger?

I myself have always found the menus quite awkward to navigate. I find that some topics are just in the incorrect categories for me and I end up going through the whole menu before I find what I want.

It's a free website which is great, but I am wondering, if possible, what changes would you make to Blogger?

To be honest, I couldn't think of any feature that I would like to be added on Blogger. It works just fine for me. Perhaps this is because I have used the platform for many years and I have learned the ins and outs of it.

Blogger looks too old. It needs to have a new clean look and to be fully SEO optimised. After all it's done by Google, so it should be perfect. That's not the case though, by default there's multiple H1 tags on pages etc.

It's really hard to say that Blogger isn't optimized to rank well. Actually, I disagree with this statement. I have used Blogger for quite some time now and I'd have to say that it's very easy to rank for longtail keywords using this platform. And that's without using any SEO plugin.

I think it's hard to make customisations on Blogger compared to WordPress although the first one is free even if you want to use it to make money. It does look old when I try to make a site on it again compared to WordPress. I wish they'd make it more newbie-friendly.

There's no doubt that doing customization is a lot easier on Wordpress compared to Blogger. But I think it has vastly improved over the years and if you're familiar with HTML, it's really not that hard. And about looking old, there are many free templates for Blogger out there that actually look great.

My problem with the free templates though is that I want to edit it more but I'm having problems due to lack of knowledge on how to edit the html thing. I think I tried copy pasting codes once and it looked very ugly compared to what I've done with WordPress.

I would appreciate if Blogger could have plugins as variable as Wordpress. As it is i still like Blogger as it is here that I learned how to create a free website and learn the nuances of blogging.
