What are outbound Links?

Outbound links are those that point to external domains from your website pages. These links are responsible to take away link juice and also traffic away from your website. Therefore too many outbound links are harmful for your website.
 
Outbound links are links that are meant to take you elsewhere. These are links that are going to direct you to another specific webpage or website altogether.
 
Out bound links are the links on your website or web page that direct the users or visitors of your website to other websites and web pages. These outbound links, on the one hand lend back links to the third party( to whose website the link is directed) and on the other hand, ensure higher authority of your website and ensure user satisfaction through detailed and quality content without much pagination.
Out bound links, thus act as a form of on-page SEO, for your website.
 
There are a gazillion types of links. The most common ones are these, I think:

And then, there are two types of external links:
Links from other websites to yours. We call these inbound links or backlinks.
