I am sure that, this is an interesting question and I think that more people will choose Facebook is the best for you but for me, I will choose Twitter.

For business/marketing purposes it'll depend on the what type of niche.
For personal use, well, it depends on user preference.
But I don't think that these social media should be compared. Because both serves different purpose.
