Trouble Activating Windows 11 Pro with New Key

Hi all,

I recently bought a Windows 11 Pro key, but I’m having trouble activating it. Every time I enter the key, I get an error stating that it’s invalid or doesn’t match my current version. I’ve confirmed the key is for Windows 11 Pro, but I’m still facing issues.

Could this be related to having Windows 11 Home installed? What steps should I take to resolve this? I’d appreciate any insights or troubleshooting tips to help me get this sorted.

If you're encountering issues activating your system, it may be because you're still using Windows 11 Home. To resolve this, you need to upgrade to Windows 11 Pro first. Once you've done that, you can enter your Windows 11 Pro key. To upgrade, go to Settings, then System, and select Activation. Click on Go to the Store under the "Upgrade your edition of Windows" section. After upgrading, enter your Windows 11 Pro key again. If you’re still having trouble, try running the Activation Troubleshooter in Settings → Update & Security → Troubleshoot.
