To www or Not to www?

I am setting up a new domain in Google webmaster tool and curious which is better for SEO? WWW or non-WWW in URL?

Preferred domain name should start with www. There no advantages and dis-advantages between them but it is recommended to use the www version.

There is no different between www or not to www, both give the same sense, without www 'it is shorted form'.

www is not a part of domain name its come with hosting. when u host a web than www is also host as a sub domain.
due to some specific coz some web-master hide www or redirect non www to www.

For Google domains with www and without www are different and not similar website. So make sure you are telling the preferred domain in the Google Webmaster tool.

I think it's better to set the domain with www.
