I think Twitter is the coolest Social Network in the net because you can be connected to anyone without boundaries without worrying about ethics issues like you don’t exactly need to be friends with them offline just to follow them. That being said, it’s easier to connect for business on twitter than on Facebook. Would you agree with me on this?

I agree. Never did I imagine that someday you can just directly message even your favorite celebrity. Twitter has made that possible, and the cool thing is that sometimes they even reply. If this is not a good example of how much better connected we are now than in the past, then I don't know what is.
I also think that twitter is a great social networking site. Although you cannot have real-time conversations with people I still enjoy to be able to follow up on what they are doing. Also, like you said, being able to follow celebrities and communicate with them sometimes is also very fun.
I agree that Facebook is less of a place where you can and will meet business partners or whatever. On twitter the world is more open, there is more freedom. Of course, Twitter is not on the top of the list, not by far, when it comes down to connect for business, the forums like this one are a greater place, because the users are more targeted, usually people who are involved or want to be involved into online business visit this sort of forums.

The only downside of Twitter is that people are using it too much and for the most stupid things (mostly celebrities). Tweets like "OMG I broke a nail!!!1" in my opinion are not that necessary.

The only advantage of Twitter, to me, is to be able to get timely updates. I have even used it once to follow the final round of an important match. Other than that I am still trying to find out how to make better use of Twitter.
It's true that Twitter has allowed us to access more of the world and get more real time updates about anything and everything that's going on in the world...most especially celebrity and business updates. I especially like the fact that all news channels, regardless of where they are in the world - also use Twitter to post headlines and you can simply follow the links if you want to know more about whichever headline.

Twitter is way better than Facebook. Way easier interaction, and the chances of getting a reply back from your favorite athlete, artist, actor, actress, is way higher on Twitter than on Facebook.
I recently started using Twitter and it has been a good experience so far. I'm currently stuck at 0 followers since I'm completely new and foreign to this social media platform, but I'm slowly learning about it. I still have trouble composing tweets here and there, but all I'm worried about at the moment is followers.
It's a completely different experience. Twitter is to keep up to date with someone or something you like. Facebook is more of a browsable experience. You can see pictures and reply directly as well as just read status updates. Facebook is more of a conversation between people. while Twitter is someone talking AT you. Twitter is great for those directing people to a site or a product, but Facebook engages the customer more, IMO.

Yes you can direct message your favorite celebrity but your
voice or message will disappear similar to the real life.
But I must say that twitter is an awesome way to connect
to your fans and customer.
This is the boon for big companies in case if they want to
update any news or similar thing.

It helps to create a sense of more credibility especially for business accounts. People are more likely to inquire about a business with 5,000 followers as opposed to a business with 15 followers. A business with 15 followers may even have something of quality, but won't be taken as seriously.

Social media is the craze of the new world. I can't imagine if I wasn't living in this age where I could talk to people I can't touch and even monitor situations in the most remote areas of the world from my bedroom. Twitter just like its contemporaries have been helping in keeping us updated. Some brokers provide forex news on the 4 major currency pairs as well as other helping signals on Twitter. I even remember once setting my stop limits to the profile tag of one of my followers.
