Social Book Marking

Pay attention to your Headlines
Many great articles go unnoticed on social bookmarking sites because their headline is not catchy enough. Your headline is the first thing users will see from your article, so if you don't make the effort to provide a catchy headline, your chances of getting to the front page are small.

have read some articles on many popular webmaster forums, and imo Social media and bookmarking not get any effect on organic ranking,

Social bookmarking is a centralised online service which allows users to add, annotate, edit, and share bookmarks of web documents. Many online bookmark management services have launched since 1996; Delicious, founded in 2003, popularised the terms "social bookmarking" and "tagging".

To my knowledge, social bookmarking could increase awareness of a website, indirectly benefiting its organic rankings. However, from my experience, it cannot deliver much traffic. I'd prefer writing good quality content on new or established websites other doing social bookmarking. A lot of social bookmarking services offer spam services. Sincerely, I'd stay away from it.

The web pages we bookmarked at social bookmarking sites is considered as a quality backlink in the eyes of search engines. And we all know that the quality backlinks helps us to increase blog traffic and Google Page Rank. That's why SEO professionals include SB in their search engine optimization practices.

Today, I read that in 2017 one's search engine ranking does depend on how many social shares and bookmarks one has and is getting. Search engines today are looking for the 'social testimony' or one''s social presence to validate the importance of one's articles. Today, it is about adding value ... so if one's articles/content is valuable it will be shared! The on-page SEO is still very important, but the social bookmarking it has gives it a 'big push'.
Is it a big and time consuming job? ... yes. There are tools to help ... paid and free. Here are three free ones.
