Should i share my approved back link on facebook?

Actually, i want to know that, should I share my approved back link on the Facebook.
Someone told me if you want to get the more traffic to your website then you should share you are
approved back link on the Facebook. Is it right?

Don,t think it will help you anymore, as the content you share on Facebook does not count as a backlink or you can say that Google not consider it,s importance.
