Optimize my shift schedule at work

Hi! I've been thinking about implementing Shifton for a couple of months to optimize my shift schedule at work. We have the following problem: employees need to regularly change shifts due to various factors - someone goes on vacation, someone has urgent matters, and the schedules themselves periodically require adjustments. I read that Shifton can automate some of these processes and, among other things, offer optimal solutions, but the question arises: how flexible is the system in terms of taking into account all the individual wishes and restrictions of employees? If any of my colleagues are already using Shifton, I'd be interested to hear your feedback. Is it worth it?

We just started using shift schedule creator a few months ago, and I can share some observations. At first, the system really causes skepticism - too many promises, and it is difficult to believe that it will be able to completely simplify the shift planning process. However, the longer we use it, the more we are convinced that it really helps to simplify tasks that previously seemed incredibly difficult. The main thing I like about https://shifton.com/shift-scheduling is the flexibility in settings. We started with automatic planning, and the system can really adapt to most tasks. For example, it takes into account the number of working hours needed to cover shifts, but it also allows you to set priorities for each employee, for example, who wants to work only during the day or, conversely, on night shifts. But, of course, there are always nuances that cannot be foreseen in automatic mode. The system can make mistakes in details, for example, in terms of vacations or illnesses of employees. In such cases, it offers possible replacements, but this is not always ideal. Therefore, we still periodically use the manual mode for adjustments. What I like about manual mode is the ability to adjust the schedule to reality if something goes wrong or if an employee unexpectedly falls ill. In this case, you can not only quickly reschedule shifts, but also see which employees are free, how much they have already worked, and how much this corresponds to their wishes. This is exactly where Shifton is good - in combination with human control.

I wonder how things are with this in terms of simplicity for newbies? In our company, the issue of shift optimization is also on the agenda, but no one has encountered such systems before. In fact, it seems to me that it is important not only how convenient the system is to use in terms of functionality, but also how quickly it is "implemented" into the work process, so as not to waste time on training employees.
