Brief the benefit of Nofollow links?

what is the benefit if we get NoFollow links in directories and Social Bookmarking?

No follow links can only give benefit in the case the page has too many visitors where the link is placed and visitors are clicking on the link to come to your site.

There is really no benefit to having nofollow links, but they are mandatory when you are building up your site. Google knows there has to be a certain percentage of nofollow links on your website, and it would be considered blackhat and unethical if you had none at all, which will end up in you getting penalized. I heard 15-24 percent is the percentage of nofollow links on an organic website, or anything above that.

Well, I do agree with the other follow members as the no follow links are ignored by the search engines crawlers, so you won’t get any direct SEO benefits from those links. However, these links are very helpful in attracting large number of visitors. Also a considerable portion of these links are very essential along with do follow links, so as to make your links looks natural.

Yeah No follow link can't be crawlable by the search engines spider but however it still beneficial for the link owner because it is still helpful to generate traffic to the site. There is no worry to hurt by the search engines as well.

IMO, the benefit of nofollow is getting link juice it is more on traffic generation.
Nofollow links and Dofollow links should be balance.
