My VCF file contains too many contacts. Is there a way to separate them easily?

I have a vCard file with a huge number of contacts collected over the years. Managing the complete file is becoming difficult, especially when I only need a few contacts at a time. I am looking for a simple method to split the VCF file into separate contact files without doing everything manually.

A large VCF file can be difficult to manage because all contacts are stored together in one file. Manually opening and editing the file is usually time-consuming and can sometimes disturb the contact format if only a few contacts are needed.

Common problems with large VCF files:
  • Finding specific contacts takes more time.
  • Sharing selected contacts becomes difficult.
  • Some devices may slow down while importing a huge contact file.
  • Manual copy-paste can lead to missing details.
A simple way is to use a vCard splitting program that separates each contact into individual VCF files. WholeClear Split vCard Software can split a bulk VCF file and save each contact separately while keeping details like names, phone numbers, and email addresses.

Before splitting the complete file, it is better to keep a backup copy of the original VCF file. This helps avoid any issues if the contact list contains important information.
