Thanks for for sharing the useful tips. Meta description tag should contain target keywords and should read natural as it is display in SERP below title. Meta tag contains the description of the page and hence used by search engine to identify what a page is all about.
 
Nice post.Meta description should be of 150 characters and it should contain target keywords.Description should be attractive one so that people can easily understand about your page.
 
I follow the below to write a meta tag for a page:
Keep it to 160 words or less
Include your main keyword at least once
Make sure it’s written for human comprehension
Keep the language as evergreen as possible so it will continue to be searched for and returned in search results
