I've had my website with kvchosting.net ssd web hosting for a number of years. It's solid as far as being up and running at all times. I love the prices. The server was down for about 15 minutes one month. That's pretty good uptime!

Well, kvchosting.net was recommended by my web design professor because of their 24 hour support and diversity of services. It was super easy. This web host will work fine for hosting any website.
 
Accounts from legionbox.com and luxhosting.lu are full-featured and cheap.

I usualy use hosting that has servers located in area i make site for. Between the 2 just us the one that is located close to you and where you target site for. If world wide it does not matter. make sure you do not need coupons everytime you need to renew hosting and they have no upgrade fees. If you need linux or windows some companies offer both and some do not.
 
Have had no issues. My sites were all transferred free and everything went smooth.

VPS plans from libertyvps.net and luxhosting.lu are worthy.
They have active support which helps much in setting up a server and in fixing any other issues if they occur.
