Is Page or Post better for SEO?

I can not decide whether page or post is better from SEO point of view in CRM systems (like Wordpress)?

Assuming you are doing blogging, for that purpose you must need to go for Post.

WordPress Post refers to content entries, which is listed in reverse chronological order site widely. You can get it listed in Categories, Recent Posts, and Archives. Also, it is included in RSS feed of the blog. WordPress Page is static and one off content. Specifically, the about page, privacy policy are vivid examples. The page, without tags and categories, is displayed in the sidebar and Pages widget. Namely, if you use Pages widget, then all pages are displayed all the while.

thank you for your responses, Posts seem the solution for blogging - and for standard content the Pages will do, then.
On the other hand even if the blogging is not so important, the tags and categories help a lot for SEO - so Post type wins again.
