Is New York dangerous at night ?

What if i am travelling to New York. Is it dangerous to travel in New York late night ?
I want to go to a place called Escape room there but only at night. Any tips ?
 
You have to be more careful at night, and alone, wherever you go, but I am a tiny girl (5'2) and have never felt unsafe no matter what time it is. Of course there are bad areas of NY best bus routes, but as long as you stay in the areas you mentioned you are totally fine. Financial district can get a little deserted at night, but I had friends who lived there and would walk around and feel safe. With the subway, just make sure you know where you are going and don't fall asleep and miss your stop or something (I did that once and ended up in a bad area of Brooklyn and that was scary!) Around your hotel, and in the upper west or east side there will be tons of people out 24 hours a day. I would always recommend having some cash on you in case you ever feel unsafe then you can just jump in a cab and go on your way! Hope that helps ..more: http://mumbailocaltraintimetable.net
