This is all nonsense, do you know that keyword density can change according to niches , it can also change according to competitor averages . i run a kw density on my website of 5.2 and i rank first for many queries. If you have the time to determine what the kw density for your niche is then do it , if not its not going to kill you.

When you write an article about a topic in certain topics you will mention the object more in a natural language. Websites and rankbrain are far more advanced than set percentages on keywords , the algorithm also looks at natural language , other websites and how users react to them,
