Indexing a Website | How to index your site faster?

How can a webmaster get his/her website indexed faster in the search engines, especially in Google? Will a WordPress site get indexed faster than a html site provided most of the content is similar (not exactly same, of course), and the meta tags too are similar?

Thank you!

A blog definitely would index faster because if the blog is regarded as a high quality blog then Google will index it within 1 minute after you publish the post. The reason that blog gets index faster is that when some one publish a article or post it will ping search engines and will update RSS feeds and it is up to search engine then whether it want to come on the website to immediately index and cache it.

SIte Index

Search Engine Submission, Directory Submission and Social Bookmarking are good techniques to get a site index fast.
Also upload Sitemap to the site and Google Webmaster account so that crawler crawl your whole site not only some pages.

All you have to do is you need to create a Google+ profile, or if you already have an existing one use that, and what you want to do is you want to head over to your Google+ profile and post a status update with your website link in it. It should instantly index your website. For that extra push you can submit your website to the Google Keywords tool so Google will send a spider to your site, possibly indexing it. Signing up for Webmaster tools and submitting a sitemap also helps significantly.

This is a great tip. Now, I can do something useful with my Google Plus account. I figured that Google would give it's social network the edge by tying it into search engine optimization.

You can submit your site to each search engine that you want to index your pages, and build lots of quality backlinks, create unique content, and drive traffic to your pages.

Why not just use the Google URL submitter? No other way is going to ensure your site is in the "to do" list.

I'm intrigued that some of you actually think you can get indexed faster by doing anything other than submitting your site direct to the search engine people. Being indexed is just something that happens when one of their spiders happens to hit a site that's got a link to you, unless you submit direct.

One tip i applied to my site so it would be crawled and indexed faster by Google is to add my link to some high traffic and existing site. Wnen Googlebot crawled on this site, my link will be also crawled and visited into, the next time it will have it's rounds. I also make sure my new page or pages newly added to my site is updated on my sitemap.

Index the website fast with the daily posts. Bookmarking and directories both are best for the index the website fast. Fresh and unique content both are best for the website optimization.

Yes there is an option in Google webmaster tool under fetch as Google.
You can use this to get indexed your website faster as well as make your websites back links on high pr website or news sites.
