I just wanna to share a story with your guys, it's about my best friend. Nine years ago, he was an obscure webmaster. Nine years after, he is an amazing site owner who hold an awesome social website. Maybe you don't believe what I am talking about, but seriously, I am not making the story, it's just a true story. I share with you guys cause I guess some guys who are troubled in the same situation can get something from my story. Just like my friend nine years ago. I hope they can benefit from my story.
My friend has own a social website which is professional and full of classification. He has to classify the site chat rooms into different category to satisfy different users. You will never believe that his website was just a site with a simple domain nine years before. It's dull and with nothing at all.
I am a coder and I give counsel to my friend over the years. But I have to admit that my friend is definitely a smart guys with commercial awareness. He got lots of ideas that I never thought; He got his definitive plan and purpose. And he saw the potential of the video chat website at that time.
If you wanna to run a social website, you should give enough reasons to attract guests, retain users, and even make old users bring newer to your site. But how? Thus, his website expands and expands, and he keep inputting and get returning more. Nine years has been passed, he keep the way he choose determinedly. His website keep the video chat software and server he choose nine years ago.
Maybe we do need to believe a famous saying "Everything is possible". Take my friends as example, he run his video chat website, and he insisted.
