How To Get 1000 s Of Followers On Twitter

I got a call from a marketer few days ago and he told me that he can get more than 1000 followers with in a matter of few days. I have been trying hard and only about 50 people are following me. He is giving me 100 percent guarantee . Can some web master tell me that this claim he is making of getting me 1000 s of visitors is a fake or is it real. If its real than would it be good for my business and would that followers will be real or would they just be fake.

Assume i make contract with that marketing person to get me followers on twitter will they keep me following or would they be gone after few days. I am completely new when it comes to twitter marketing so i am asking if any body can help me understanding this logic.
 
You can go on Fiverr and pay five bucks for one thousand followers but I think a more safer and more importantly free route is the one in which you apply to sites like twiends, youlikehits and traffup where you can increase your count more organically then by simply buying them.

As to the marketer question don't even answer him the next time he calls, it's a tax for dummies that he is selling.
 
Getting 1000 followers is not that hard on Twitter as there are many people there who would be willing to follow you just to have you follow them back. If it's just numbers you're after then just do it yourself or have someone from Fiverr do it like BobMarin has mentioned. But in my opinion, it's a lot better to just gain organic followers as you go along instead of having many artificial ones.
 
Those 1000 followers you get are fake and no use of them except to make your twitter profile look followed by many. Those fake followers will vanish in a month or two.
 
No I would not ever pay a marketer calling me to claim they will get me more Twitter followers. They are not real followers and they are really only a number count. Besides the fact that I would never give my information to anybody who calls me - I don't trust people that call me trying to sell something.

You want real followers who actually care what you tweet about and not fake ones that just make it look like you have followers. People will follow you if they like your website or your tweets whether you have 10 followers or 10,000 followers. These are the people you want following you, not people who are paid to follow.
 
I had this same question so I am glad to have found this thread. I have read what everyone has to say, and I too didn't want to have just some generic followers, nor did I want to have to pay for them. I like the organic followers, so I will be visiting all the places that you guys have mentioned and will report back with how it went and how long it takes for each place to see a difference. thanks a lot for sharing everyone.
 
I think any paid for followers are not going to hang around too long or be useful to you. I've never really seen the point of paying for followers like that myself, unless you get paid for the number of followers you have for some reason. It's all a bit sad really.
 
I don't think paying for followers is the right way to go. That marketer will probably make a bunch fake accounts follow you, who don't really tweet anything. You want valueable followers who are actually interested in your product/business and are prepared to mention your account or retweet your messages.

Make sure you search for those valueable followers, follow them or mention them. Use relevant hashtags and keep monitoring and partaking in discussions relevant to your business.
 
You can do it manually without any problem, just to tweet everyday follow other and you are interesting will be followed too.

Make an effort to Keep Your Followers on Twitter. People who actually keep up with the tweets of the people they follow will regularly re-evaluate who they follow and will unfollow whoever they feel is not worth following anymore.
 
He probably tries to resell services from sites such as SEOclerks to you, you could go there directly and get the followers for way cheaper.

It might be fake or auto generated follower because there are many site where you need to sign up and folllow the member so automatic that members will follow you
