How often have you been able to fix a faulty product by yourself?

I must admit - not often. Recently I required an evaporator cleaning and examination/testing done. I recently ran into a problem, my TV broke and I really didn't want to buy a new one, so I decided to fix it. I took my drill, removed the protective cover, replaced the burnt board and everything works like new.
