For me, it's a little bit few, I need at least 8GB or 16GB for the the smooth work.

I have 8GB DDR3 Ram and it's enough to handle tough information, but not the journey Firefox web browser. It eat most of the space while running.

I'm also using 8GB DDR3 like you. But I'm using Chrome, it's less using resource than FF browser.
