How Do You Choose the Perfect Ninja Name?

Hey everyone,

I’m curious—what makes a ninja name truly great? Should it be based on stealth, power, or something deeper like philosophy or nature? Do you prefer traditional Japanese-inspired names or something more modern and unique?

If you were to create your ninja name, what would it be, and what meaning would you give it?

I’d love to hear your thoughts and any cool name ideas you’ve come across.
 
A great ninja name should evoke mystery, skill, and precision. It can be based on stealth (like Kage meaning "shadow"), power (Raijin for the thunder god), or deeper meanings from nature or philosophy (Yūrei for "ghost" or Seishin for "spirit"). Ninja Names can be traditional Japanese for authenticity or modern and unique for a fresh twist.
If I had to choose one, I’d go with Kurohane (黒羽), meaning "Black Feather"—symbolizing silent movement and deadly precision, like a raven in the night.
What about you? Do you prefer names based on real ninja history or more creative, symbolic ones?
