Hallway Pages?

A hallway page is a web page which redirects user to other web pages. its main purpose was to enable a Search Engine's spider to follow these links to the pages to which the links refer in the expectation that the Search Engine will then index these pages.It is not good way of doing seo you should avoid it.

Those pages which redirects you to other pages are hall way pages. The link which is supposed to open something else open as some thing else. It is very irritating for the user. It provides very bad experience to the users and it considered to be the spam activity and should be avoided.
 
A hallway page in an SEO context is a page which acts as an index for a group of other pages you would like the crawler to find. A bit like a static sitemap page on a site with a list of links for the main areas and pages of a site. But probably smaller and maybe just for individual sections or certain pages in sections.
