Rarely does a top tier defensive Cheick Diallo Jersey tackle enter the open market in their prime. That's what's happening now, though, with after the elected not to use their franchise tag on him and ensure the NFL's best rushing defense stays intact. There's been a somewhat mixed reaction from fans as to whether or not they should pay the hefty price tag for the er or spend that money elsewhere. Just this morning, beat writerDave Birkettof the Detroit Free Pre s posted this photo of billboards referencing the ' decision. Yup. These billboards are popping up all over Detroit right now. Dave Birkett (@davebirkett) No word as to who is purchasing the billboard space other than it's some mystery group. It's a bit unclear what the billboards are trying to say. Is it a reference to the not placing the expensive tag on Suh? Is it aimed at Suh for seeking out a big payday? Is it a reference to the fines that Suh has accumulatedin his career? Is the billboard actually gold instead of blue (I've lost my grip on reality ever since that )? The franchise tag would have cost the team $26.8 million. The could still sign him, but with Suh hitting the open market, he's likely going to attract huge offers from teams with much more cap room. What do you think, fan? Is this a dig at the team or the player? Daniel Williams is a Digital Features Editor at NFL.com and wishes he had the money to spend on a confusing billboard. You can follow him on Twitter _ _.
