Favorite forums software?

The only forum software I had experience with is vBulletin. I think the administration board is easy to understand to navigate around, and it is simple to modify segments from there. You can see a easy guide to your users, posts, etc. I have never used myBB, phpBB, Xenforo, or any other community application, but I would suggest vBulletin if you are new.
 
In my opinion, the paid forum software is vBulletin. The free one is phpBB. I have an experience with creating a forum with phpBB. I have created a phpBB forum by using VPSrobots. I found that phpBB is really easy to install and use, it has categories related to products and services for the targeted audience. Best of all, it is open source.

For me I can suggest phpBB and vBulletin. I have not yet used any of them specifically but I know how to deploy phpbb and mybb
