Facing issues while setting up old games on PC – need some guidance

I’ve been trying to run some older console games on my PC, mainly for nostalgia, but I keep running into setup problems. Sometimes the emulator works fine, but other times it either crashes or doesn’t detect required system files properly.


I’ve been reading different guides and came across this one:

It explains the setup quite simply, especially about BIOS and configuration, but I still feel like I might be missing something during the process.


Is there a common mistake people make when setting up emulators for older games? Or any tips to make them run more stable?
