I was looking for a simple way to export emails from an IMAP account to PST format so that I can open them in Outlook. While searching for solutions, I came across the SysInfo IMAP Backup Tool, which seems to make this process much easier.
This tool allows users to download and export IMAP emails directly into PST format, which can later be imported into Outlook. It also supports saving emails into other formats like MBOX, EML, MSG, and PDF. One thing I liked is that it maintains the original folder hierarchy during the backup process.
Another useful feature is the date filter, which lets users export emails from a specific time period. It also includes options like removing duplicate emails and managing attachments during the backup.
From what I saw, it also supports migration of IMAP emails to platforms like Office 365, Gmail, and other IMAP accounts, which can be helpful for users planning to switch email services.
