Do you think aliens exist?

I think aliens exist, because this universe is way too big. I will be very surprised, if only our planet has life in it.

I also believe aliens visit us very often. I believe they abduct certain people.

What about you?
 
MIT just released a paper on this. Meteorites that fell in December were sent for study and apparently life was found in the form of fossils inside the meteors. Looks like the age old question has officially been answered.
 
Yes, I believe that other life forms exist on other solar systems and it's just a matter of time until we all discover each other. I can only wish that we could find out about it in my lifetime as I'm especially curious about this and would really appreciate some sort of closure before I go. I just hope they aren't hostile.
 
I believe that aliens, do exist, and I do believe that they visit us, but I do not believe that they abduct people. I also agree with what you said about the universe being too big for only Earth to have life.
 
I've always thought that it would be the epitome of arrogance for humans to think they would be the only intelligent life-form in the universe. The universe is so large that our minds cannot comprehend its vastness. Even if humans were a cosmic accident, we surely wouldn't be the only one.
 
Yes, I do believe that there's life on other planets. The universe is vast. I don't believe that were are the only planet with life. I just hope that I get tangible prove before I die.
 
People who don't believe as such either; don't know that the universe is 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,00...etc. bigger then earth. There are more then 3 trillion galaxies and each galaxies has +400 billion stars in each with their own solar systems.

Now, the chances of one of those trillions of planets having at least a speck of life on it, is almost certain.

Are we alone? Nope.
 
Yes and no, that's a trick question. That's like saying, do you believe that there's something after you die? Like an afterlife? Well, that's all beliefs until you experience it. Extraterrestrials may or may not exist, we don't know and may not know for a long time whether we're alone, maybe we're not even advanced enough yet for them to come say hi? Or maybe we're still too blood thirsty for any of them to come by and think we won't kill them or use them as an experiment to learn more about their bodies for human enhancements. I believe that there may be "aliens" out there, yes, however, I doubt that they'd ever care to come around this planet to see our blood and greed hungry culture.
 
I do not believe in aliens. I understand your reasoning that the universe is quite large. I understand that there should be intelligent life form out there some where. But, we are quite intelligent and have explored many parts of the universe. If aliens were out there, do you not think we would have found them by now.

As you stated, we've explored our Universe, alone, yes, but there are a few questions to ask, if there are other civilizations, what if they're further than our current reach? Or maybe they're more advanced that us and have mastered cloaking technologies? (we're a bit close to that ourselves) Or maybe there are civilizations far away that have achieved only the same or less progress as humans and they've yet to explore outside of their solar system? There are a lot of questions, and I personally wouldn't believe an extra terrestrial life form exists without seeing it for myself, but hey, it's your beliefs, if there's but one thing free in this world, it's beliefs.
 
Yes, I think aliens exist, but they are very far from us. And yes, I do think they are able to visit and that they do in fact visit, just that it's being covered up by the government. For whatever reason, I really don't know. Honestly, I wish they would show themselves because that will change everything we know about the universe forever and I think that would be very interesting, so hopefully that happens in our lifetime.
 
If anyone is seriously interested in learning more about the possibilities of (primitive, microscopic) life in our solar system and beyond, I recommend Coursera's Astrobiology lectures.
 
We cannot disprove life beyond. The chances of anything finding us are low since space is huge, and it would take millions of years to reach stars we see in the sky lol. They did say if you looked at Earth from light years away, you would see the dinosaurs going extinct.

I personally believe we have something else out there in all those galaxies out there. Im pretty certain that there are billions we cannot see. Many more than that probably. This is all a confusing wonder of nature.
