Hi everyone, we’re currently looking into home solar installation here in California and are really torn. We’ve been hearing mixed reviews about the upkeep—some say it’s 'set and forget,' while others complain about constant cleaning due to dust.
We live in Sacramento, and with our AC usage, our electric bills are becoming a real budget hit. We’re ready to pull the trigger on a system, but I’m worried about the maintenance side of things. How often do you actually need to clean them? Do you do it yourselves or hire professionals? And most importantly, has the investment actually paid off for you in the long run?
