I have been a loyal Apple TV user for many years and I love the smooth user interface. However, I am really frustrated that I cannot access some of my favorite international streaming channels due to regional restrictions. I heard some rumors that Apple recently added native support for VPN applications in the latest versions of tvOS. Is that actually true or do I still need to configure a complex virtual router on my PC to share the connection? How do I find and install these apps on the television screen? Are they stable enough for daily media streaming?

Yes, it is absolutely true and it is one of the best features Apple has added recently. In the past, you had to buy an expensive secondary router or set up a complex proxy server on your laptop just to get a secure connection on your Apple TV, which was a massive nightmare for regular users. Now, thanks to the latest software updates, developers can publish native apps directly in the tvOS App Store. You can just open the store on your television, search for a provider, and download the client in a few seconds. I have been using this vpn for tvos on my own device for a couple of weeks now and the stability is amazing. The interface fits the Apple ecosystem perfectly and you can control everything with your regular Siri remote. It allows you to quickly change your virtual location and unblock foreign streaming catalogs without any complicated workarounds. The playback quality remains excellent and I haven't noticed any frame drops or extra loading times during 4K Dolby Vision streaming. It runs completely in the background and reconnects automatically if your internet drops for a moment. It is definitely worth trying out if you want to get the most out of your Apple TV device without dealing with hardware modifications.
