Calendar showing which holidays are today

I'm the editor of a local women's magazine and we recently started a column called "What day is it today". Is there a website or calendar that collects interesting facts from around the world about what day it is in history or what is being celebrated in different countries today?

I'd also like to read this section. Send me the link. What is the name of the magazine? I saw such a section on the timesles website, it's a website with online calendars. But they just show a list of what holidays are today , without a detailed description or stories. You have to search for additional information on Google. I just recently looked there when Catholic and Orthodox Easter falls this year.
