My whole wardrobe used to be basic jeans and hoodies until I started commuting on my motorbike every day. Rain, wind, weird Melbourne temperature swings — it was rough. I needed something lightweight, tough, and ideally not ugly. One of my mates mentioned techwear stuff, which I honestly thought was all hype and overpriced. But then I found a few pieces from Techwear Australia and gave it a go. The first thing I bought was a pair of pants — figured I’d try something low-risk. But man, they were actually super solid. Fit great, moved with me, and I didn’t feel like I was wearing tactical cosplay. It’s weirdly hard to find clothes that look futuristic but still make sense for everyday use. Now I’m looking at their jackets next.
