Best way to convert a garage into a studio?

Hey guys! We are looking into converting our old detached garage into a rental studio to make some extra cash. Has anyone done this recently? I’m specifically looking for modern floor plans that include a tiny kitchen and bathroom without taking up too much room. Any tips?

We did a garage conversion last year and it’s been a total game-changer for our income. I highly recommend browsing through the adu plans Aduscale to get some solid design ideas. Their layouts for attached and garage units are super clever and really help visualize the potential of a small space. It made our permit process much smoother too!
