Anybody still submitting to article Directories?

I am wondering if article directories have recovered from Google panda. Do you still get traffic from article directories and does it still influence your Google ranking?

No, I haven't seen any difference. Actually I wouldn't know until Google releases the next PR listing. Anyway, I don't have any problem with article directories because I don't submit to them.

Yes, Article Directories are still effective.
Article submission is a content marketing strategy and drives good traffic to the targeted site if the article content is fresh & informative.

I'm sure they are still useful for backlinking. They are not completely dead as of yet, there are popular sites like Squidoo or Hubpages still providing many useful backlinks and traffic to your website. In a few years from now, Google will probably change their algorithm and make article submissions useless, so take action now if you think it might be useful.

I don;t submit to them that much but I have not seen a drop in traffic from them, as Victor has said I think we will get some idea when Google update the PR again.

I have stopped submitting articles to the directories. I am getting very little result for my hard work. Now I am concentrating on some other methods.
