Avast is best antivirus. i am happy with the services and it is free for 1 month trail. after that it is paid.

I always used it free version and that works fine.
To use free version you need to register yourself on avast.
They ask few question and your free version is activated automatically or else they provide a key on your registered email.
But before going for registration be sure you've working internet connection.
