Will Google pPage Rank or SERP get affect after Google Humming bird Update?

From what I read, I don't think it directly has any effect on google page rank of websites.

However, since it's going to have an effect on how search query are being answered, then it can help a website SERP. And if there's an effect on SERP, it could also help Google page rank of the website.

I couldn't see how the Hummingbird update could affect PageRank. From what I understand, it's meant to make the search algorithm more human like, especially when returning longtail search queries.

After humming bird algorithm update some of the keywords ranking has dropped. Because it is major algorithm change, which many focusing on search quality, content, quality links.
