Yahoo May Challenge Google With Video Service Like YouTube

Yahoo is considering launching it own video services similar to what YouTube does right now. Yahoo have been looking opportunities and will be offering advertisement opportunities to its publishers and offer them revenue sharing. If Yahoo go ahead with this idea the ordinary people may have more choice to watch videos and various programs.

Currently YouTube is the biggest and although it have many rivals but the competitors are no where near YouTube. With the launch of new Yahoo video service YouTube may give its users as users will have more than one option.
 
It will worthful move...Because youtube has created a monoply in the world of videos, but yahoo has to come up with some thing really attractive and creative to attract customers.
 
They will need to have something different and better in order to take people away from youtube. Perhaps if they offered a more generous share of the revenue from adverts then people may be interested. Otherwise, i can't see what yahoo can offer that youtube and google can not.
 
Well, many tried to become Facebook, but they failed. They failed because they were trying to copy the idea and not add on to it. Those who did, became successful. Same will stand good for Yahoo if they delve into the Videos arena. There is some tough competition already from others (why only YouTube) - Dailymotion, Vimeo and some more.

They definitely will have to come up with some fresh ideas and maybe then, we might have some good competition
